Open Class Overview:
The rise of AI has revolutionized the way we think about talent management. With the help of AI, organizations can now identify and develop talent more effectively than ever before. By leveraging machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics, companies can gain valuable insights into their workforce and make data-driven decisions about hiring, training, and development. The result is a more efficient and effective talent management process that benefits both employees and employers. However, while AI has many benefits for talent management, there are also some challenges to consider. One of the main challenges is the potential for bias in AI algorithms. Because AI systems are only as unbiased as the data they are trained on, there is a risk that these systems could perpetuate existing biases in the workforce. Additionally, AI lacks the human touch that is often necessary for effective talent management. While AI can help identify and develop talent, it cannot replace human judgment and creativity. Therefore, a balanced approach that leverages AI's strengths while addressing its challenges is crucial for the future of talent management.
In the frame of the Open Class, participants will have the opportunity to attend a short presentation of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered at CITY College, University of York Europe Campus in Thessaloniki, Greece and lead to Bachelors and Masters degrees awarded by the University of York.
There will be also a short presentation of the Pan-European Executive MBA, a dual degree MBA programme, leading to two MBA degrees, one from the British University of York and one from the French University of Strasbourg.
