Every year, the University of Sheffield International Faculty CITY College, and its research centre, SEERC, celebrate academic research with the Young Researchers Skills Development Week (YRW). This year the YRW2018, took place in Thessaloniki from 7th to 11th of May 2018 with approximately 200 student participaints.
The event provided the opportunity to university students of all levels, PhD, MSc and BSc, and academics to present their work to a wide audience, thus making possible the interaction with lecturers and researchers, as well as with other young colleagues. They also had the opportunity to develop professional and employability skills.
The Week consisted of two conferences, the Doctoral Student Conference and the Student Spring Symposium and six seminars on research methodologies by academic of the International Faculty:

The Young Researchers Skills Development Week (YRW) events contributed to new knowledge and presented valuable research work and provided opportunities for interactive sessions and discussions, networking and exchange of ideas and practices.
