Focused on the importance of human resources, the fourth module of the Programme for Management Development was successfully delivered by Dr Leslie Szamosi, Academic Director of the Executive MBA, on 17 September 2017 in Kyiv.
Dr Szamosi underpinned the significance of keeping the companies’ most important resource – their people – motivated. In his lively presentation he outlined a number of different key issues that can energize and motivate people to be their best and do their best.
“What makes employees effective and what they are looking for is very often misunderstood. What experience has taught us is that creating a motivated workforce goes well beyond simple payment of wages. And, today, this is being even more complicated by the Millennials (Generation Y) joining our companies.” said Dr Szamosi.
The ‘Programme for Management Development’ comprises 6 modules. The programme aims at equipping professionals with skills and knowledge, which are required for meeting companies’ strategic objectives; understanding business as an integrated system in the interrelationship of organizational, financial, marketing decisions aimed at increasing business competitiveness.
