The Symposium is organised entirely by CITY College students and student societies from all departments, the event takes place mainly in the CITY's premises. Presentations from all three Departments of the College (Psychology, Computer Science and Business) take place on a daily basis for a limited number of days each year. Stimulating discussions between Students and Lecturers are also held regurarly within the Symposium. The event covers a large array of Workshops mainly on developing applications and skills for the students, teachers and guests that participate.

Together with many more interesting lectures on different scientifical and practical applications the Symposium offers a huge array of fun activities and diverse cultural meetings.

Students from different universities and countries also participate and present their papers on a range of interesting topics such as web technologies, e-business, information security, software development, health/clinical psychology, marketing, cognitive neuroscience, managing knowledge and innovation within organizations, and social impact of information technologies.

The event is supported by the International Faculty, CITY College, the South-East European Research Centre (SEERC), the Java User Group Thessaloniki and the Greek Computer Society Macedonia Thrace Annex.
